"Summer Farm"
The
dairy farm I grew up on is re-created here.
Every child should have the chance to live on a real farm.
Included in this
painting: "Ellendale" Registered Holstein farm sign, the cows coming in
for milking, us four girls playing, my Dad mowing, Mom is in the kitchen
peeking out, a "cow is out!" and Clarence and another helper are shoving
her back to the barn, the "kitty barn" with a mother and two kittens
nearby, etc.

“County Fair”
Every summer all of
America is treated to thousands of county fairs. Don't miss yours this
summer.
In this painting:
Horses, sheep, a pet show, tractor pull, rides and roller coaster, funnel
cakes, popcorn and candied apples, the world's largest pumpkin, all on a
very hot day. Young girls who show large pigs are allowed only one small
stick to maneuver the animal, while the two grown men who are "spotting"
her are given large metal shields to use.

“At the Lake”
We have visited many lakes in the summers.
